Euro and pound prices for the Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions were not in any official source read for this page; only the Collector Box's were published in all three currencies. Store prices differ by country, so check the PlayStation Store in your region.

What is in the Digital Deluxe Edition?

Four pieces of Dark Alchemy gear and three extras. The PlayStation Blog lists the Dark Alchemy Armor Set, Blade, Bow Scales and Catalyst, gear for Faye's armor, her sword, her Serpent Bow and her Catalyst, plus an in-game resource pack, a digital mini artbook and the official God of War Laufey digital soundtrack by Bear McCreary. The Store groups the four as the "Dark Alchemy Equipment Set". What the armor's perks do in play has not been detailed. The gear these items dress is explained on Laufey Gameplay and Combat.

What is the God of War Laufey pre-order bonus?

Pre-ordering any edition adds three items: the Last Wish Armor Set, the Phranque Golden Leaves Appearance and an in-game resource pack. The Golden Leaves look is cosmetic, for Faye's companion cube Phranque. The armor and the appearance unlock through story progression rather than at the start, so they do not appear on the first screen.

On the physical Standard Edition the bonus comes as a download code in the box, which needs an internet connection and a PlayStation account. PlayStation's page says the bonus and Dark Alchemy codes expire on Feb 16, 2037, ten years after the original release date.

What is in the God of War Laufey Collector Box?

The Collector Box was announced on Oct 13, 2026 as an update to the PlayStation Blog's pre-order post. It contains:

an eight-inch light-up statue of Faye, Phranque and Rue fighting Begtse's soldiers, with Phranque lighting up on USB power;
a 51-card Oracle Deck illustrated by the artist Megan Lara;
a physical mini artbook of concept art.

The blog says "game sold separately", and PlayStation LifeStyle confirms it holds no game and no download code. Anyone who wants to play needs a Standard or Digital Deluxe Edition as well. The deck's 51 cards match the 51-card art sets handed out at Comic-Con, which Barlog said hold story significance without saying what. The gods on the statue are covered on Sekhmet and Begtse.

Where can you buy the Collector Box?

Only directly from PlayStation, in what the blog calls "highly limited quantities": direct.playstation.com in the US, and playstation.com/store/hardware in the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Pre-orders opened on Oct 13, 2026 at 10:00 am local time. No other countries were listed. Whether it was still in stock on Nov 4, 2026 is not known here.

Is there a physical edition?

Yes: the Standard Edition is sold digital or physical, and Santa Monica Studio confirmed on Jul 10, 2026 that the game will be on disc. The Digital Deluxe Edition is digital only, so a disc owner who wants the Dark Alchemy items buys the $10 upgrade. Sony's plan to end disc production for new games in January 2028 does not affect Laufey, which comes out before then; see Laufey Platforms and PC.

What does the delay mean for pre-orders?

Not much is official. When the game moved from Feb 16 to May 20, 2027 on Nov 4, 2026, Sony did not say whether existing pre-orders carry over automatically, though the Store kept selling the editions for the new date. The Collector Box was listed as available on Feb 16, 2027, and no new date for it had been published as of Nov 4. Prices were unchanged that day. The full story is on Laufey Release Date.
