Both are on Steam and the Epic Games Store; God of War Laufey has no PC version announced.
God of War Ragnarok on PC needs at least an NVIDIA GTX 1060 or AMD RX 5500 XT, an Intel i5-4670K or Ryzen 3 1200, 8 GB of RAM and 190 GB on an SSD for 1080p at 30 fps on Low, and an RTX 4070 Ti or RX 7900 XT for 4K at 60 fps on Ultra. It came out on Steam and the Epic Games Store on Sep 19, 2024, ported with Jetpack Interactive, and the PlayStation Network account it first required became optional on Jan 29, 2025. God of War (2018) reached PC on Jan 14, 2022 and asks far less: a GTX 960 or R9 290X, 8 GB of RAM and 70 GB. The Steam page adds Intel cards: an Arc A750 at minimum and an Arc A770 recommended, with Windows 10 20H1 and DirectX 12, and lists the minimum cards' memory as 6 GB (GTX 1060) and 8 GB (RX 5500 XT).
God of War Ragnarok PC features
The PC version has unlocked frame rates, true 4K, 21:9 and 32:9 ultrawide, DualShock 4 and DualSense support with haptics and adaptive triggers, mouse and keyboard rebinding, NVIDIA Reflex and spatial 3D audio. Upscaling covers DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1 and XeSS, each with frame generation where the technology has it; PlayStation's two pages disagree on the XeSS version (1.3 on the blog, 1.2 on the game page). It includes every post-launch update, New Game Plus, and Valhalla at no extra cost in both the Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions. Pre-purchasers got cosmetic Risen Snow items for Kratos and Atreus. The game's accessibility options carry over: see God of War Ragnarok Accessibility.
Does God of War Ragnarok need a PSN account on PC?
Not anymore. When Sony announced the PC version on May 30, 2024, it said an account for PlayStation Network is required, and the Aug 8, 2024 requirements post said the same. That drew complaints, including from players in countries where PlayStation Network is not available.
On Jan 29, 2025 Sony dropped the requirement for four PC games: God of War Ragnarok, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us Part II Remastered and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, as IGN and Engadget reported. Linking an account is still rewarded: in Ragnarok it unlocks the Armor of the Black Bear at the first Lost Items chest in the Realm Between Realms (before, only in New Game Plus) and a one-time bundle of 500 Hacksilver and 250 XP, and it brings trophy support and friends. The Steam page read on Nov 4, 2026 does not mention PlayStation Network at all.
God of War Ragnarok on Steam Deck
Steam's page shows that God of War Ragnarok won the Best Game on Steam Deck award at The Steam Awards 2024, voted by Steam players. Valve's own compatibility rating for it was not checked for this page, and Santa Monica Studio has published no Steam Deck settings.

The port, announced on Oct 20, 2021, has true 4K, unlocked frame rates, higher-resolution shadows, improved screen space reflections, GTAO and SSDO ambient occlusion, NVIDIA DLSS and Reflex, 21:9 ultrawide, DualShock 4, DualSense and other gamepads, and fully customizable mouse and keyboard controls. Steam lists Santa Monica Studio and Jetpack Interactive as its developers.

Is God of War Laufey coming to PC?
Not announced. As of Nov 4, 2026, God of War Laufey is a PlayStation 5 game only, with PS5 Pro enhancements. Both Norse games came to PC later, God of War (2018) almost four years after its PS4 launch and Ragnarok almost two years after its own, but Sony has said nothing about Laufey on PC.
